Packaging plays a huge role in the beauty industry– they say never judge a book by its cover, but in beauty, consumers always do. That’s why Cosmoprof North America (CPNA), the Nation’s largest and most-awarded B2B beauty show in the US, knew packaging needed to be represented at the show in an iconic way. Enter DiscoverPACK, which Adduco not only helped launch to the industry, but worked with CPNA’s organizers to brand, market and fill. The area delivered a tailored and well-rounded showcase of the latest packaging innovations—from packaging to contract manufacturing. Participating companies benefited from guaranteed face-to-face meetings with key U.S. and international buyers, which Adduco helped attract and procure. Adduco also helped develop educational sessions to co-inside with DiscoverPACK and launched an award for Packaging that same year, called the Beauty ID Awards (BIDA). BIDA recognized some of the industry’s most innovative suppliers and brands in packaging, formulation and contract packaging. Winner’s included Express Tubes (packaging), MAC, HCT Group (packaging), Estee Lauder, Clinique, Aveda and more.
