Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America (MHIA) is proud to announce the expansion of its digital services platform to include the complete augmented reality (AR) maintenance library for the EVOL 115 Flexo Folder Gluer.
The AR Library provides a comprehensive suite of 120 immersive, step-by-step guides—covering everything from basic calibrations and wear part replacements to lubrication routines and troubleshooting.
“We’re always evolving to meet the needs of our customers, and that includes investing in tools that make their jobs easier and their operations stronger,” said Christine Little, Director of Sales at MHIA CMD. “This expansion of our AR Library is a reflection of that commitment—and a clear step forward in our mission to deliver smarter, more proactive support.”
Among the newest features is a laser calibration procedure for the EVOL 115’s folding rails—an innovative tool that enhances precision and alignment. This FG Calibration method is now used by MHIA field service technicians and will also be available to customers through a new laser kit offering.
The EVOL AR Work Instructions, featuring 3D animations, represents a big step forward in the evolution of industrial reference materials–designed to improve clarity, reduce human error, and boost overall efficiency on the production floor. The library also includes Remote Assist, a real-time support function that connects on-site users with MHIA experts to quickly diagnose and resolve issues, enabling faster response times and reduced downtime.
Building on the success of the EVOL 100 AR procedures, this milestone marks the next step in MHIA’s digital evolution—providing customers with powerful new tools to streamline maintenance and improve operational efficiency.
