At SuperCorrExpo, Signode will host live demonstrations of an integrated corrugated packaging system featuring the new GCU-3 strapping corrugated unitizer and the fully automatic Octopus®S Series stretch wrapping machine – a combination that streamlines end-of-line operations while improving load integrity throughout the distribution cycle. The latest model of the GCU-3 is equipped with up to six modular heads for enhanced flexibility and maximum throughput. The Octopus S Series uses an “S” wrap pattern to maximize load containment and minimize film usage, enabling it to wrap up over 100 loads per hour.
Additional automation solutions and integrated systems from Signode include Simplimatic® Robotic Palletizers and Depalletizers, Simplimatic Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), and the StorFast® Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS). Engineered for optimal speed, service life, and flexibility, these solutions integrate effortlessly with most material handling lines.

The SIG-VCSTandem will be live in the booth to demonstrate its high-speed bundling capabilities for corrugated products. Combining two squaring bundlers with dual-zone conveyors, the SIG-VCS meets the extreme demands of modern flexo-folder gluers (FFGs). SIG-CORR, anautomatic squaring and strapping bundler, will be running to showcase high-speed bundling capabilities for specialty-glued items like crash-lock boxes, corrugated trays and lids, and straight-line cartons.
