February 16, 2023 AI/ML & IoT, Public Relations

Ultisim, a company that integrates hardware and software to build fully immersive 3D simulation and Digital Twin experiences to solve real-world problems, has announced the appointment of Anil Menon, former managing board member of the World Economic Forum, to its advisory board.

Ultisim was founded by executives from the computer gaming industry and Lockheed Martin with expertise in leading-edge gaming technology, simulation, and artificial intelligence. It is dedicated to moving industries from two-dimensional, static data to interactive, three-dimensional, real-time data visualization, analytics, digital twins, and simulation learning.

Menon is currently the executive vice president of community & urban services for Sharecare, the latest milestone in a career spanning academia, for his work with global technology companies, and serving as senior advisor to the Prince of Wales (now King Charles III).

“It’s a distinct pleasure to welcome Anil to Ultisim,” said Richard Boyd, founder of Ultisim. “The entire team and I are excited to collaborate with him and leverage his incredible insights and perspective as we literally build the future together.”

Menon’s past positions include global president for Smart+Connected Communities at Cisco Systems; chief marketing and strategy officer for IBM’s global hardware business, managing IBM’s transition from a hardware to a business technology brand; and tenured professor in the graduate faculty for Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

“I’m impressed with the depth and breadth of Ultisim’s team, its vision, its ground-breaking work, and its market-based approach – I’m up for the journey,” said Menon.
