Telling the Story of Sustainability

December 11, 2021

Adduco Communications worked with Monadnock Paper Mills to amplify the story of The Lobstermen of Little Cranberry Island, a vibrant 40-page photo book by award-winning photographer Tadd Myers. The project highlighted the sustainable practices of the Cranberry Isle Fishermen’s Co-Op, as well as the eco-conscious collaboration of Monadnock Paper Mills, Clampitt Paper, and Villanti Printers.

Adduco’s role went beyond storytelling. We crafted a compelling narrative emphasizing the importance of sustainability in supply chains and print production, tying together the lobstermen’s legacy with the environmentally responsible practices of all collaborators. The story showcased the power of choosing the right partners to align values with function.

To bring this story to a larger audience, Adduco spearheaded a multi-channel promotional strategy, including:

  • Writing and securing placement for articles in key industry outlets, such as GDUSA.
  • Developing and launching a targeted social media campaign, driving engagement across platforms.
  • Submitting the project for prestigious awards, further elevating its visibility.

The results spoke for themselves. Media coverage reached an audience of 145,000, with 1,810 views of the press story alone. A dedicated social campaign delivered an impressive 5.3% engagement rate, generating 2,849 impressions and driving 47 clicks. Through a strategic blend of storytelling and promotion, Adduco helped Monadnock Paper Mills showcase how sustainability drives innovation and enhances brand reputation.
